Clethodim

Herbicide

Red Eagle Clethodim is a selective post-emergent herbicide formulated to control annual and perennial grass weeds in broadleaf crops, turf, and non-crop areas. Its active ingredient, clethodim, is an ACCase-inhibiting compound that disrupts lipid synthesis in susceptible grasses, leading to growth cessation and eventual plant death while leaving most broadleaf species unaffected.

Primary target: annual and perennial grasses, including: Volunteer cereals, wild oats, foxtail, ryegrass Johnsongrass, quackgrass, bermudagrass (suppression/control depending on rate) Other grassy weeds in crops, turf, and non-crop areas (Does NOT control broadleaf weeds or sedges.)
